PREMIUM VEGAN MATERIALS
Svala products are made with innovative, plant based materials including MIRUM® (a plastic-free vegan leather alternative), Piñatex® (made from pineapple leaf fiber), BioVeg (made from recycled plastic bottles and bio polyols) and cork from Spain. Each Svala handbag is lined with fabric made with organic cotton and recycled poly made with plastic bottles.
SUSTAINABILITY AND GIVING BACK
With our recent partnership with Ecologi, a tree is planted with every Svala order. To date, we have planted over 1000 trees and have helped fund climate projects all over the world including Brazil, India and Mexico.
In 2019, Svala was a nominee for the Eluxe Magazine sustainable luxury Eluxe Awards and in 2020 was awarded Best Vegan Brand of the Year. In 2023, Svala won an International Sustainable Award from the Luxury Lifestyle Awards.
