Ever since I can remember, I have always had a love of design, color and art. Growing up in Australia as a child, It was difficult for anybody to get me to wear anything but converse and my brother's hand-me-down Mambo board shorts. But as a teenager, I developed a love of fashion and enjoyed it as a form of self-expression and culture.
As I grew older, I began to understand the detrimental effects of the fashion industry on the environment and began searching for brands who were producing sustainably and ethically. After completing a course on green business, I began writing for the LA Examiner about green fashion. This research inspired me to begin working on my dream of my own brand, with a focus on producing beautiful, functional animal-friendly pieces that are ethically and sustainably produced.
